A WORD TO THE BODY OF CHRIST

Dear Christians and Fellow Ministers of the Gospel,

We are living in a time we call the last days, a time of much confusion in this nation.  People are asking what next will happen to the world and America.  It seems the problems of this world and especially here in this land are unsolvable.  Nearly everyone has their own prediction of the outcome of this nation.  In the midst of what is going on, where is the church of Jesus Christ?  It seems that some Christians and churches are drifting away with the tide of what is taking place in America.  But God never intended for us, His people, the true blood washed church to be drifting away from Him and His Word, through compromise to that which is contrary to the Word of God.  You and I have been raised up by God at a time like this, to Stand In the Gap for America and the communities we live in.  America’s greatest problem is spiritual; coming back to the true and living God is the most important step for the nation and the communities you live in.  We are the true church and we have a great responsibility in helping bring America, and our communities, back to God.

We, the church, are a living witness to this nation and the communities in which we live – I John 1:2, Acts 1:8.  The church is the only true witness that God has to share the Gospel, be the light in the midst of darkness (Matt. 8:14-16), and the salt of the earth (Matt. 5:13).  We are the vessel of truth to be poured out.

We, the church, are God’s watchman to America and the communities we live in.  Ezekiel 33:6-7.  The church is the voice of truth speaking forth the Word of God to the nation and communities.  Declaring the Word with love and compassion and warning them that to reject the Lord Jesus Christ is to reject the only hope for them, their children and the nation.

We, the church, are the spiritual warriors for American and our communities – II Cor. 10:3-4.  The battle to take over this nation and our communities by the enemy must not be ignored or brushed aside.  We are not called to fight among ourselves, but understand that the enemy is satan and his demons using whosoever they can use.  So with Christ’s invested authority we, the church, must do offensive warfare against the enemy.  America and our communities belong to God and His Son, Jesus Christ; so why wait for God to do it, when we are commanded to bind and loose – Matt 18:18-19.  I pray that God will give you a burden and a passion to intercede for America and the community in which you live.
